'Whole world complete': ZM host Bree Tomasel announces birth of son, reveals name
Radio broadcaster and TV star Bree Tomasel announced the birth of her son during a live radio segment and revealed his name for the first time.
The exciting news was shared on ZM’s Bree & Clint show today, where she described the new addition as making her “whole world complete”.
The 37-year-old Celebrity Treasure Island co-host announced her son’s name as “little baby boy, Toto Tomasel”.
Tomasel, who announced her engagement to partner Sophia Gould in March, said her son was born Wednesday at 5.45am.
The announcement left everyone in the studio in tears.
The pair had kept the baby’s gender a surprise, so it was also revealed during the segment.
“It’s just so special, and it’s like this instant feeling where I feel like mine and Sophia’s family is here and we’re just a complete little happy unit now,” Tomasel said.

“It’s so hard to comprehend that he’s been there the whole time and I’d always say to Sophia ... who are you baby? Who are you going to be? And now we know, and it’s Toto,” she said.
Tomasel thanked everyone who listened to the show for the “overwhelming feeling of love and support”.
The couple announced their pregnancy in April and said it followed “years and years” of waiting.
Tomasel and Gould met on a relationship app in 2018, and their first date was at a bar on Auckland’s Karangahape Rd.
