Critically injured person dies after single-vehicle crash near Clevedon
A critically injured person has died in hospital after a serious late-night crash last week west of Clevedon, South Auckland.
Police confirmed the death this afternoon following the single-vehicle crash in Brookby.
Emergency services were called to Brookby Rd, at the intersection with Richardson Rd, shortly before 11.30pm on Friday, July 24.
Police said one person received critical injuries and was transported to hospital, while a second person received minor injuries.
“Sadly, the critically injured person has today died in hospital,” a police spokesperson said.
Inquiries into the crash continue.
