Armed police guard South Auckland health centre after incident leaves two injured
Armed police are stationed outside a suburban health clinic as officers investigate an incident in South Auckland that’s left two people in a serious condition.
Hato Hone St John said it was notified at 12.33pm of an incident at Harwell Place, Māngere.
“Our ambulance staff treated two patients and transported them to hospital both in a serious condition,” a spokesperson said.
“Two ambulances, two rapid response units and one operations manager responded to the scene.”

Police said inquiries into the incident are continuing after they located an injured person in a “stable condition”.
