A police operation is underway in Auckland’s Papakura, with one person taken to hospital in a moderate condition.

Hato Hone St John were called to Clevedon Rd at 11.24am today, a spokesperson said.

A police spokesperson confirmed an operation was underway in the area.

St John sent two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle and an operations manager to the scene.

One person was taken to hospital in a moderate condition, a St John spokesperson told the Herald.
