Police investigate sudden death in Waikato suburb
Waikato police are investigating an unexplained sudden death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Reece Durston said a scene investigation was underway following a sudden death incident in the northern Hamilton suburb of Rototuna.
“The death is being treated as unexplained,” Durston said.
A cordon had been established and police were expected to maintain a “visible presence” in the area in the coming days.
Police said there was no indication of an ongoing risk to the public.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the 105 non-emergency line, referencing Operation Hatherly or file number 260819/2161.
