WWE returns to Auckland for first time in a decade
The WWE is returning to Auckland for the first time in a decade with a WWE Superstars event announced for December.
WWE today revealed three additional shows across Australia and New Zealand with the Auckland event taking place on December 17 at Spark Arena.
Ticketmaster last week had a link appear on their website promoting an Auckland event before it was pulled down.
A 2020 event at Spark Arena was postponed and then cancelled because of Covid restrictions.
The last time WWE stars performed in Auckland was the WWE Live event in 2016. A year later Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena hosted a WWE Live event, the last one on New Zealand shores.
The Auckland show will see the arrival of WWE Superstars including Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Oba Femi, World Tag Team Champions The Vision, The Bloodline, Liv Morgan, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans.
There will also be three events in Perth along with Melbourne and Brisbane shows.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday.
