Geese invasion: Hamilton City Council unveils new solution

A fake wolf could be key to ridding Hamilton Lake of Canada geese.
Complaints to the council are coming in thick and fast, from people frustrated by poo-clogged footpaths and honking wake-up calls.
A wooden wolf cut-out has been erected at one section of the lakefront and the council's also exploring other options.
Hamilton City Councillor Anna Casey-Cox says it seems to be scaring off the birds.
"In the area that the wolf is, there are no geese - so that's a good start. And we're looking to build on that."
