German-born Anton Segner is one of the new faces who got called up for Dave Rennie's first All Blacks squad.
The Blues loose forward is joining Josh Moorby, Fehi Fineanganofo, and Xavier Numia as part of the All Blacks squad for next month's Nations Championship.
He says it's been a 'crazy' 24 hours since he first heard the news, but he's very excited for this opportunity.
"I got the phone call from Dave Rennie, who told me - I got straight on the phone to my family back home in Germany where it was 4am in the morning, I had to get them out of bed to tell them, but I don't think they're gone back to sleep."
