Barry Soper: Remembering former Speaker Adrian Rurawhe

Former Parliament Speaker Adrian Rurawhe died this morning following a short illness, as confirmed by his family.
He became an MP in 2014, and Speaker in 2022 and 2023, then retired from politics last February.
Newstalk ZB senior political correspondent Barry Soper says Jacinda Ardern, Chris Luxon, and current speaker Gerry Brownlee have all paid tribute, and Parliament flags will be flown at half mast for him.
