'Trouble': Harry Mowbray responds to fallout from vote-splitting campaign
Businessman Harry Mowbray's been given a lesson over his campaign urging people to split their vote this election.
He's launched a website on which he's told right-wingers to vote National in their electorate, and give ACT or New Zealand First their party vote.
National complained it doesn't comply with election rules to the Electoral Commission, which forwarded the issue to police.
Mowbray says he didn't get permission to encourage people to electorate-vote National.
"I found out that I couldn't act as a group. We had to act as individuals, if we wanted to be able to say - we want to party vote for somebody. You're allowed to say negative things about a party, you're not allowed to say positive things."
