Prime Minister Christopher Luxon ripped into Air New Zealand for its posted $242 million loss today, one day after Qantas posted a profit of $1.5 billion.
CEO Nikhl Ravishankar says multiple global issues are to blame for the loss, but he remains optimistic for the future.
"First and foremost, the reason I feel that way, optimistic about the future is, we're delivering for our customers again. You know, our on-time performance, our punctuality and reliability, again, has been as good as it's ever been, and the planes are back," he told Heather du Plessis-Allan.
