Rotorua's mayor says Chris Luxon doesn't need to feel sorry, after igniting backlash for comments at a local business event.
The Prime Minister last week told business owners they have a parent-child mentality, and too often ask the Government for help.

But Tania Tapsell says Luxon was right on the money and his comment was taken out of context.
"Yes, times are tough - but actually, don't rely on the Government to be bailing you out. And I 100 percent agree with that, because, we don't need to keep getting into debt, we need to make sure we're innovating."
