The passing of one of New Zealand’s most well-loved entertainers has hit the country hard.
Dame Jools Topp died the Saturday just past at age 68 as a result of breast cancer, something she was first diagnosed with in 2006 before it returned in 2021.
Like many other Kiwis, Kevin Milne was devastated to hear of her passing, and he has a theory as to why so many are hit hard by the news.
