2026 NPC season: What can fans expect this year?

Tomorrow, the NPC finally returns for its 50th edition with the first match kicking off between Waikato and Bay of Plenty at 7 tomorrow night.
This year also marks a return to free-to-air for the competition, with the hopes that it'll help build on the viewership growth the comp has seen over the past couple of seasons.
