Rupert Carlyon: Parties should be focusing on banks not supermarkets

There has been a lot of supermarket chat over the past couple of years, and it's ramping up now that we are headed into the election. 

National wants to split up Food Stuffs, the Greens want to build KiwiMart, ACT wants regulatory barriers reduced so new competitors can enter, and Labour has proposed separating the wholesale and retail operations of both major supermarket groups.

But, Koura Founder Rupert Carlyon says messing with supermarkets will not help the average kiwi household, it is instead banks we need to focus on
