On Sports Fix with D'Arcy Waldegrave for September 1, 2026, New Zealand Netball Players Association general manager Pippa Moore joins the show to unpack the bombshell announcement that Netball New Zealand's domestic competition will move to a privately backed model from 2027.

The governing body has signed a non-binding term sheet with investors Ali Williams and Anna Mowbray, who would hold the licence for both the league and its teams. While questions remain around team numbers, broadcasting arrangements, scheduling and competition structure, the pair have committed to a minimum five-team league. Moore explains what the proposal could mean for players and the future of the game.

D'Arcy also weighs in on the debate surrounding the flyover before the second All Blacks-Springboks test, arguing the conversation should be focused on the rugby itself rather than the pre-match spectacle.

Then, Ben Francis steps into the Chamber to assess the Warriors' approach to their final regular-season match against Manly. With a home qualifying final looming, should Andrew Webster rest key players or go all-in and name his strongest possible side?
