'Help identify this man': Police release photo after attack on Auckland bus
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify following an “unprovoked assault” on an Auckland bus.
The attack took place on a North Shore bus between 6pm-6.20pm last Sunday, June 21, police said.
The bus was travelling route 83 from Takapuna to Browns Bay.
Police today posted a photo of the man to social media.
Police are calling for help identifying this man.
“Police investigating an assault on an Auckland bus are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man captured in this CCTV image,” police said.
“If this is you, or if you have any information that could assist police, please get in touch.”
Police said people could contact them via 105 – either online or by phone – and reference file number 260621/3110.
Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
