Bus driver and passengers checked after Ponsonby Rd crash
Emergency services have responded to a crash between a car and a bus in central Auckland.
A crash between the two vehicles was reported on Ponsonby Rd, near the intersection with Brown St, just after 2pm.
Police said the bus driver and some passengers were being checked by ambulance staff, with one photo seen by the Herald showing the driver being put into the back of an ambulance on a stretcher.
Police said no serious injuries have been reported, but motorists were advised delays could occur as the scene is being cleared.
