Foodstuffs’ revamped customer loyalty scheme is being extended after its recent launch to include major liquor chain Liquorland.

From today, Liquorland will join New World, Pak’nSave and Four Square as part of Foodstuffs’ cross-brand rewards programme.

Club+ members will be able to earn Club+ Dollars on qualifying purchases at Liquorland, both in-store and online.

Members who have chosen Airpoints as their reward will have their Club+ Dollars automatically converted into Airpoints in lots of five.

Members will also be able to spend Club+ Dollars at Liquorland stores, but not when shopping online.

All qualifying spend will earn Club+ Dollars at the rate of 0.75% – meaning for every $100 spent at Liquorland, members will earn 0.75 Club+ Dollars.

Foodstuffs launched its multi-brand rewards programme Club+ in June.

In comparison, New World and Four Square customers earn at respective rates of 0.75% and 0.38%.

Pak’nSave customers don’t earn anything on purchases but can still use Club+ Dollars earned elsewhere to pay for groceries.

Foodstuffs launched Club+ on June 15, marking the first shared use of a rewards system across the legally separate North and South Island co-operatives.

Its predecessor, the New World Clubcard, was closed in July, with existing members’ balances, shopping history and preferences held for up to 24 months and transferred when they register for the new Club+ system.

The new card is an alternative to Woolworths’ Everyday Rewards.
