Armed police descend on K Rd after alleged gun threat
Armed police descended on a central Auckland street after reports a man had presented a firearm during an argument.
Police went to Edinburgh St, off Karangahape Rd, about 3.35pm and took a man into custody.
An imitation firearm was found at the scene.
A worker at a mechanic shop on nearby Gundry St said he saw armed police blocking the street.
