Four-vehicle crash blocks key route to Auckland Airport
Extensive delays are expected on a route to Auckland Airport after a four-vehicle crash.
The crash, between a truck and three vehicles on Puhinui Rd, Wiri, was reported to police around 6am, a police spokesperson said.
There are no reports of injury, however the road is blocked.
Emergency services have closed Puhinui Rd (State Highway 20B) in both directions while the scene is cleared.

Motorists are advised to expect delays or seek an alternative route, the spokesperson said.
Google Maps shows traffic slowed to a crawl along the road as of 8.22am.
The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) and Auckland Airport are recommending using SH20A to travel to the airport instead.
An airport spokesperson said to check the NZTA website for the latest updates.
