Crash kills one, seriously injures another in Wairarapa
One person has died after a serious crash in Carterton.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Gladstone Rd, near Tiffin Rd, at about 12.50pm on Saturday.
One person died at the scene, while another person was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit examined the scene.
Police inquiries into the circumstances of the Wairarapa crash are ongoing.
