Emergency response at Christchurch Airport after flight diverted
An emergency response is underway at Christchurch Airport after a flight was diverted.
According to tracking website Flight Radar, Air New Zealand flight NZ630 from Queenstown to Auckland was redirected to Christchurch.
Emergency services can be seen on the runway of the airport.
The reason for the flight’s diversion is not yet known.
Christchurch Airport confirmed the incident and that Fire and Emergency is responding.
