Four injured after serious two-car crash in West Auckland

A West Auckland road is blocked as police respond to a serious two-car crash.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and follow directions from traffic management for diversions, police said.

The incident on Red Hills Rd in Massey was reported at about 11.30am, and the Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

“The road is likely to be blocked for a significant amount of time,” police said.

Hato Hone St John said paramedics treated four patients and transported one of them to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition.

The other three people were taken to Waitakere Hospital in moderate condition.
