Crews work to free injured person after motorway crash near Dunedin
Fire and emergency crews are working to remove an injured person from a car that collided with a barrier near Dunedin.
Emergency services were called to the Dunedin Southern Motorway, between the Westland St on-ramp and Old Brighton Rd off-ramp, shortly before 3pm.
A Fire and Emergency shift manager confirmed crews from Mosgiel, Roslyn, and Lookout Point were working to remove a person from the vehicle.
The person is not trapped, but crews are working to free them due to injuries, they said.
Police advised motorists to expect delays.
