'Her ideas deserve scrutiny': National's Nicola Willis defends Chlöe Swarbrick comments
The National Party has voiced concerns about Greens co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick taking on a high-profile role if the coalition loses power.
National claims Swarbrick would be Finance Minister in a Labour-led Government, despite leader Chris Hipkins saying this wouldn't happen.
National Finance Spokesperson Nicola Willis says Swarbrick's seeking a 'powerful role' in a prospective left wing Government and her ideas deserve scrutiny.
"We in National believe her ideas would be a threat to every New Zealander, our economic recovery, your job, your income. And so we are drawing attention to her plans."
