OpenAI hacked Australian Medicare portal, Albanese reveals
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently revealed that an OpenAI agent hacked into an Australian Medicare data portal in June of this year.
Albanese explained that the AI agent got unauthorised access to the Medicare portal when it was conducting research into medical spending, and it took OpenAI months to inform the Australian Government.
Australian correspondent Oliver Peterson says Albanese has voiced his concerns about this incident to CEO Sam Altman in New York.
