Leaders talkback live: Winston Peters in studio with Kerre Woodham

With campaigning well under way and the election rapidly approaching, it’s time to dig into the specifics.

New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters will be joining Kerre Woodham to take an hour of talkback, answering the burning questions Kiwis have ahead of the election.

They’ll discuss coalitions – how much influence does the party have? Who are their favoured coalition partners? And would they work with Labour again?

Immigration is one of the platforms New Zealand First is campaigning on, the party releasing a 14-point plan grounded in the idea that immigration is a “privilege, not a right”. What would this look like in action?

Throughout this term, Peters has held the Foreign Affairs portfolio. Has it been a difficult couple of years given the current state of geopolitics? And has our international standing improved under the current government?

All of this and more will be covered as Winston Peters joins Kerre Woodham live in studio from 10am.
