The White House says Donald Trump's meetings with Israel and Ukraine's leaders were both positive and productive.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met separately with the US President at the Oval Office earlier today.

Zelenskyy says he discussed Patriot interceptor missiles and other ideas which could help his nation's fight against Russia.

US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking Netanyahu's visit marks his first face-to-face meeting with Trump since the start of the Iran war.

He says the Israeli leader is pushing for further military escalation, after claims some of Iran's nuclear programme has been moved to an underground facility.
