Dietary supplement exporters are welcoming a possible change to outdated rules.

Natural Health Product Government Affairs Director Samantha Gray told Mike Hosking it will free up exporters from decades of red tape.
She says we have an anomaly in our regulations where exports have to comply with New Zealand standards, which are circa 1985 and completely outdated.
