One critically injured in crash blocking Dunedin motorway
One person is critically injured after a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 1 in Dunedin.
Police said they were advised of the crash on the Dunedin Northern Motorway about 6.30pm.
“Emergency services are on scene,” police said. “One person is reported to have critical injuries.”
The motorway is fully blocked, with police advising motorists to avoid the area and take alternative routes if possible.
The Serious Crash Unit has been informed.
