Person dies in hospital five days after Canterbury crash
A person has died five days after a serious crash south of Christchurch.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on Kilkenny Close in Lincoln about 11am last Thursday.
Police said a person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Sadly, despite best efforts by medical professionals, the person has died in hospital today,” they said in a statement this evening.
Inquiries into the crash continue.
