Police identify man who died after SH2 crash

Police have released the name of the man who died after a crash on Takitimu Drive in Tauranga earlier this month.

He was 48-year-old Warren Craig Cochrane, of Ōtūmoetai.

Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 2/Takitimu Drive on October 5.

In a statement, police extended their condolences to Cochrane’s family.

“Our thoughts are with his family as they go through this difficult time.”

Inquiries continue into the circumstances of the crash.
