Sports Fix: Tuesday 06 October 2026
On Sports Fix with D'Arcy Waldegrave for 6 October 2026, it is no secret that the NRL is the main driver of interest in rugby league and the international stage clearly sits in second behind it - but in this country, can NZRL capitalise on the immense popularity of the Warriors and bring some of that passion over to the international game with the World Cup just over a week away?
Andrea Nelson is the CEO of NZ Rugby League, she joined D'Arcy to discuss.
D'Arcy shares his thoughts on what happened at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
And D'Arcy and New Zealand Herald sport journalist Ben Francis discuss some of the squads named for the Rugby League World Cup and whether Parker Jackson-Cartwright is the best import the Breakers have ever had.
